Album Review: Nva Orleans - Las Caras de la Muerte

Four years ago, since that Michita Rex edited their first compilation called “Música para el fin del mundo” and gathered to different project who make important celebrities of the current Chilean pop. Inside the same complation, a young Milton Mahan, mind and voice of Dënver, has participate with a song titled as “Música y Discos”.

Today, with a lot of maturity and experience in his body, publish his debut album under the name ‘Nva Orleans' and cultivate a side more and more dark than what he developed in his duo formation with Dënver.

“Las Caras de la Muerte”, album that go from the instrumental song “Jahuelito” until the single released four years ago, pass to different moments and passages of occultism. The songs, between stand out “Costanera”, “Mediterraneo” and “Jesus, María, no sé”, there are some reference of indifference, Satanism and other things, makes of Mahan one of the best exponent of the Chilean pop.

This is a delicious album, a cult of darkness, apt for every moment of nostalgic and hate of the world.
